You always can send what you bought from amazon or other stores retour with as reason ‘defect’ Usually these bigger stores do not even ask a specific reason to fill out, most of the time you just get a choice of a few reasons and submit the device for retour. This way you can get some money back except the import costs etc. I would do this in your situation as the device is useless for you because of the regio lock.

Before I try to update. Does anyone if there is now a decent search? With Mytvonline2 search for VOD and Series was excellent. One could enter the menus, scroll to a certain category and do a search so you knew what results to expect. In Mytvonline3 there suddenly was this very weird universal search where you simply get a lot of results and cannot see any details or bookmarks or have a clue from what category the result was.
